Katie Salgado

Sr. Director of Education

Katie Salgado is Senior Director of Education of PASS, a USPTA certified tennis coach, and a PhD candidate at Arizona State University. A former Fulbright scholar, she leads the PASS college readiness program and connects students with universities, scholarships, and summer opportunities that can change their trajectories. When she's not coaching students through applications or test prep, you'll find her on the tennis court crushing backhands (her favorite shot.) At home, she experiments with baking under the watchful eye of Vinny, her food-motivated pug, who reminds her that life's best moments often involve treats and naps.

Huda Adnan

Education Team

Huda Adnan is a second-year Biomedical Sciences major at Arizona State University’s Barrett, The Honors College, on the pre-med track with big plans to attend medical school and become an orthopedic surgeon. When she’s not buried in textbooks, she loves teaching and helping others build confidence while sharpening their academic skills. Sports have always been part of her life, and while tennis has played a key role in her athletic journey, pickleball has completely won her over as her favorite.

Lisa Tran

Education Team

First-year student at Arizona State University’s Barrett, The Honors College, Lisa Tran is both a PASS facilitator and a weekend tennis coach. She is majoring in Biomedical Sciences on the pre-med track and aspires to become either a physician assistant or pharmacist. She began facilitating ACT readiness workshops during her senior year of high school and progressed from a volunteer to an official coach working with middle and high school tennis players. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music and studying in ASU’s libraries. What began as simply participating as a student in the tennis program has grown into a journey of leadership, mentorship, and confidence, transforming her into a proud leader on and off the court.

Kristin Huber

Sr. Education Advisor

A Wisconsin graduate, Kristin had a successful career as an Account Executive for Procter & Gamble. She then pursued her Master’s in Education from Minnesota. She taught computer and business classes for 10 years at a Title 1 high school. Kristin thrives on giving students equitable opportunity to achieve social and economic mobility through higher education. She plays on two tennis teams and enjoys spending time with family and consuming books, podcasts, and movies.

Alma Rodriguez

Education Team

Alma is a senior at Apollo High School, and will be attending Stanford University in the Fall of 2026. She plans to major in economics with a minor in environmental studies. In her free time, she enjoys baking, listening to music, and hanging out with friends. Alma joined PASS her first year of playing tennis, and soon became a facilitator for the Winward education program. She tutored peers on ACT skills, ultimately also improving her own ACT score. She also volunteers on Friday to coach, and plays on the Varsity tennis team at her high school tennis team. Through PASS, she has gained confidence in both her tennis technique and her leadership skills.

Thomas Green

Tennis Coach

Thomas Green (aka Coach Tom) is a PASS coach by weekend and healthcare consulting leader by 9-5. He fell in love with tennis at an early age and began coaching in 2011, working with youth and adult programs in Kansas City before bringing his passion to the Phoenix Valley, where he captains and plays on multiple USTA and recreational leagues. He joined PASS in June 2025 and is inspired by the students’ dedication to the sport as they develop into lifelong tennis players. When he’s not on court, you’ll find him stringing racquets while listening to fantasy novels, proving that tennis geekery comes in many forms.

Frank Linehan

Tennis Coach

Frank is an ASU student in the W.P. Carey School of business class of ‘29. Initially joining PASS to play tennis, he quickly picked up the role of coach and facilitator. Frank loves coaching the next generation of Arizona high school tennis players and connecting with the community that we have here at PASS. “The proudest part of my job here is seeing the smiles on students faces.” Off the tennis court, Frank loves helping and learning from others in school. He is a proud member and a symbol of what we represent in this organization.

Sujan Parab

Tennis Coach

Sujan Parab is an international student from India and a Doctor of Physical Therapy student at the University of Florida, graduating in Spring 2026. A former ASU Club Tennis player and current member of the UF Club Tennis team, he brings over 18 years of tennis experience, including competing on the ITF Juniors circuit, winning multiple national and state-level tournaments, and now coaching players on the ITF circuit. Sujan is passionate about sports and orthopedic rehabilitation, with a special interest in helping tennis players stay healthy, perform at their best, and return stronger after injury. When he’s not on the court or in the clinic, he enjoys mentoring young athletes and sharing the true essence of tennis—on and off the court—and is proud to be part of the PASS family.

Elliot Gonzalez

Tennis Coach

Elliot Gonzalez is a second-year student at Arizona State University’s Barrett, The Honors College, majoring in Civil Engineering. When he is not studying or playing tennis, he enjoys exploring the humanities. As a current Dorrance Scholar, he has had the opportunity to study abroad, travel to eight countries, and visit over thirty museums. He is passionate about teaching tennis and enjoys attempting to teach anything he can.

Trang Tran

Social Marketing Team

Trang Tran is a senior at Bioscience High School and will soon be attending Northwestern University. She began playing tennis on the Central High School team and joined PASS during her sophomore year. Trang first stepped into a leadership role as a coach for a middle school class. However, she soon discovered a strong interest in social marketing when given the opportunity. Today, Trang serves as the Social Marketing Leader at PASS, producing content for social media platforms and designing the organization’s website. She loves the PASS culture, the people, and the opportunities it provides, describing it as “a home away from home.”

Alondra Ramirez

Social Marketing Team

Alondra Ramirez is the Social Media Director for PASS. After first joining PASS to develop her tennis skills, she quickly took the opportunity to manage PASS’s social media platforms. Through creative content, she helps share the organization’s mission, highlight community impact, and create funny tennis content. She hopes to use her skills in social media to help her family business and create more growth in the community.

Adrian Bourosu

Alumni

Adrian Bourosu is an alumni of PASS and is studying aerospace engineering at Arizona State University. His dream is to one day work for NASA. Despite such big dreams, he takes the opportunity to come back every once in a while. He plays singles with some of the students, offering a new challenge to those willing to step up, and can be seen occasionally answering questions in the study groups. No matter the time, he is always busy with one of his hobbies. Outside of tennis, he loves to read, both comics and novels, and plays the violin.

Peh Meh

Alumni

Peh Meh is an alumna of PASS and a freshman at Arizona State University, majoring in elementary education. Her journey with tennis began in high school, and she started with PASS as a sophomore. Peh cherishes the PASS family and is thrilled to give back to the community that supported her growth.

Saih Gonzalez

Alumni

Saih Gonzalez is an alumna of PASS and a sophomore at MIT, majoring in mathematics and computer science. He first began playing tennis during high school, joining PASS his junior year. Saih is grateful to have been able to give back to his community through PASS and hopes to continue to support PASS in any way in the future.

Angie Chi

Alumni

I am a sophomore at Arizona State University studying Construction Management. I volunteer because the sport of tennis and PASS will always be part of who I am. Tennis taught me dedication, perseverance, and resilience; lessons that continue to guide me beyond the court. Behind those lessons was a coach who believed in us and helped lay a foundation far greater than tennis itself. Being part of PASS' very first group is something I will always cherish. It's like seeing a planted seed grow and flourish. Watching new players now step into a space filled with opportunity and support means more to me than words can express. I am deeply grateful for the lasting impact PASS has had on my life.
