PASS is a charter member of the National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) family. Each year we host a Jersey Mike' Subs Community Day as part of their National campaign. We are a leader in implementing the Winward Academy e-learning platform resource provided by them. We are active participants in hosting Jersey Mike's Subs' Community Day as part of the national campaign.
The SW Foundation has proven to be a major connector between PASS and the USTA. They have provide funding through general grants and specific resources like sponsorships for community events, staff joining us at school programs and travel assistance for USTA Team Tennis. In return, PASS students become USTA members, serve in community events and volunteer as Ball kids at Sun Devil and AZ Classic matches. Win-win!
This Title 1 school is in close proximity to the Phoenix Tennis Center (PTC). As our first Net Generation Partner School, we have given over three weeks of tennis to the 250 students in their PE program. We helped coordinate entire school to visit Arizona State University and have recruited many students to join our program because of this and family friendly community events.
This well renowned tennis shop is located in Scottsdale. They have consistently supplied and donated to the needs of local professionals, tennis teams, organizations, tournaments and the community. The shop has a donation bin specifically designated for PASS. They accept gently used tennis equipment, clothing and shoes.
ASU has provided PASS with many valuable resources. The Sun Devil tennis teams trains and allows ball kids on court for their competitive matches, the only NCAA Division 1 program in the nation to offer this opportunity. The student led Club Tennis team volunteers their time to play tennis with and mentor PASS kids about college life. The Office of National Scholarship Advisement offers their time and talents to prepare PASS students for college admissions and scholarships.
Ragland Tennis Services is the concessionaire that manages the Phoenix Tennis Center (PTC). It was always a dream of Director Joe Ragland to host a tennis program for low-socioeconomic youth because a program like PASS is what introduced him to tennis in his youth. Today, The PTC is proudly the 'Official Home of PASS.'
To enrich the lives of students in low-socioeconomic neighborhoods by encouraging personal responsibility and a healthy lifestyle.
PASS (Phoenix After School Sports, Inc DBA Programs for After School Success) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization funded by community donations and philanthropic giving.
